Why did I start writing stories?

Let's be clear, I never in a million years thought that I would be writing and illustrating children's books. I have been in my position for the last 8 years and in this time I have found it very difficult to find books about specific topics pertaining to computer knowledge.

Something clicked in my head after I drew my first character, Marty the Mouse. The story just developed in my head and I wrote it down quickly. Of course I have to go back and edit it and fix the grammar, but the main idea was there. This first story I put on my Teacher Pay Teacher site to sell, but since doing this I have changed the story, the way the characters look, and the backgrounds.

Each of the stories I have come up with have just popped in my head and developed very quickly. The story line and characters develop at the same time. I currently have 4 stories written and 2 of them are illustrated. There are more topics I would like to develop a story for but they have not come to light yet.
