I struggled with this question a lot. I had so many questions about what I should do and also if the book is really that good to get published. Family will tell you that it is good and you should do something with it, but I fortunately have the PERFECT audience for my books. I am an Elementary computer teacher and honestly, it is the perfect audience. To help me get feed back about the book I read it to my 2nd and 3rd graders since it is being written for them. They were a HUGE help. They enjoyed the story from the very beginning. Since they enjoyed the story I took them page by page and had them tell me about the graphics. What a help that was! Due to the reaction of my students, I came up with my 3rd gnome. I have found my students the most helpful because they are brutally honest, which is what you want for a children's book.
Stay tuned to see why I went the root I did to publish my book.
