My Biggest Illustration Issue

During the illustration process I was getting frustrated at times because I had trouble getting the actions of the characters and also to make the pages have more story to them. This is something I think many people struggle with as new illustrators. I joined many Facebook pages to help me figure it out. I also looked at many children's book to see how they formatted the pages.

I did post some of my illustrations to a group on facebook and I got feedback, but at the same time I also got people offering to draw my book for me. Now remind you they wanted me to pay for them to draw it. Part of me was insulted and part of me was thinking that I needed to change some things. One of the comments someone left a sample of how she would draw the scene. This is when I got thinking that things needed to be changed. So i looked at some pages and I made the changes that I thought was needed. Now the pages I am going to show you will have the Frances on them, but you can still get the idea.

I do have to say, that looking at the old pages verses the new ones, I am glad that I made the edits. The new pages are on top and the old ones are underneath.
